Ellwangen is in a truly enviable position
Flamenco in the inner court of the Town Hall, Irish Folk in the Swedish vaults of the Castle, exhibitions in the Baroque rooms of the Palais Adelmann - with such "top" venues to stage cultural events and such a perfect ambience, Ellwangen is in a truly enviable position.
Former Mail Coach Station "Schwarzer Adler"
In 1550 "Schwarzer Adler" was first mentioned in a document. Famous personalities such as Mozart and Goethe stayed here. A scene on the painted front, created in 1896 by Hans Kolb, recollects the visit of Goethe.
